Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:3 to endure hardship as a good Soldier of Jesus Christ. If Christians are to be Soldiers of Christ, then Missionaries must be the Special Forces Operators (Green Berets/Navy SEALs) of the Kingdom of God, always out on the fringes, operating beyond the front lines of spiritual warfare, reaching the unreachable, helping the helpless, bringing hope to the hopeless.

At New Beginnings World Outreach, our focus is not charity, but empowerment. We stand on the old saying, ‘give a man a fish, feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime’. Among the usual Missionary activities like evangelism, installing bore holes/wells for clean, accessible water, constructing sanitary pit latrines, and the occasional distribution of clothes and shoes, the engine that drives New Beginnings is agricultural developments. With two growing seasons in Uganda, along with its rich and fertile soil, Uganda should be an agricultural powerhouse, but with ancient farming equipment and techniques, they simply can’t keep up with modern demand. We aim to change that. Our goal is to give them a boost so they can in turn afford to develop their own communities and make a better life for themselves and their families, and of course each time our boots hit the ground in the village, we simply can’t miss the opportunity to evangelize and work with the local Churches.

Spreading the Gospel through agricultural developments…Making a difference, one seed at a time
