David & Jean Andrianoff- Asia and North America

David Andrianoff creates opportunities to drink coffee or tea or share a meal with pastors and church leaders in Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Mongolia) and in North America, particularly Jefferson County, Washington (perhaps the least-churched county in the entire U.S.!). He prays that through these interactions these individuals would experience Jesus and his love. Annual trips to Asia enable him to re-connect with church leaders whom he has mentored for decades and to encourage new workers (both expatriate and national) in Southeast Asia.

Having established the Annual Day of Prayer for Laos (currently in its 33rd year), and the formal consortium of Christian agencies serving in Mongolia (JCS International), David continues to seek to create opportunities for individuals, organizations and churches to work together. We best serve God’s kingdom by serving together in partnership.

Each year David participates in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s annual HC3 (Hmong Christian Collegiate Conference). What a thrill to find young college students committed to following and serving Jesus Christ! Indeed, each year several of these students come to faith in Jesus. David has also recently re-connected with the Hmong District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, having attended the first organizing conference in 1978. God is doing an amazing work through the Hmong believers in North America.

Now that David’s wife, Jean, has retired, she is able to join David on his visits to Asia. It also gives her more time to write (see her published book, Chosen for a Special Joy, the story of David’s parents and an amazing people movement among the Hmong).
